It was looking so good for Albion early on as Kaoru Mitoma gave Brighton a 28th-minute lead when he brilliantly curled into the top corner from 18 yards. Marc Albrighton levelled for Leicester when he fired in at the far post after Harvey Barnes and Youri Tielemans had been denied. Brighton’s Italian head coach Roberto De Zerbi was booked when his side were denied a penalty in the second half after Danny Welbeck was clipped over in the box. VAR had a closer look but decided there was not enough contact on the former Man United striker. Brighton continued to push forward and should have scored when Solly March blazed over from close range and they were made to pay when Harvey Barnes made it 2-1 to Leicester as he fired in at the far post after Luke Thomas touched on a corner. But Ferguson ensured Brighton claimed a point with three minutes left when he glanced in a fine header for his third Premier League goal of the season. Great stuff from the talented youngster making a real name for himself.

Quality recovery tackle to stop Vardy darting through on goal early on. His underlapping run acted as a decoy for Mitoma's goal. Absolutely bombs it down the wing to be an outlet/decoy in attack. Faded out as the game went on... and then popped up in the dying moments with a quality cross for Ferguson, who finished with aplomb. 8/10 Photo: Shaun Botterill

Marked out of the game in CDM by Vardy. When he found space it led to a goal, getting the pre-assist for Mitoma. Was moved into the number ten role when Lallana came off injured. Everything Albion did well in attack started through him. Pressed with intent. Had a good effort from 20 yards out saved by Danny Ward late on. 7/10 Photo: GLYN KIRK
7. Moises Caicedo -
Had to battle to get on the ball as Leicester squeezed the game in the middle of the park. Got stuck in. Played some nice line-breaking balls. Covered well for his full-backs. 7/10 Photo: Shaun Botterill
8. Kaoru Mitoma -
Wasn't as heavily involved as previous games but still popped up with moments of magic, particularly his goal. He cut in on his right foot, embarassing Castagne in the process, and fired an exquisite curling efforts into the far right corner. Lovely feet in tight spaces. Tracked back well. Won the 50/50 battle which led to Ferguson's equaliser. 7/10 Photo: Shaun Botterill
