Academy manager, Sean Noble, commented "The resources and support the club has designed and shared with the College is first class. The academy players will be able to occupy themselves with meaningful exercise and learning activities, which will help maintain their physical and mental health during this tough period. One of Europe's leading clubs are able to support our students, this once again shows the benefits of being part of our successful Football Academy programme."

Chelsea FC Foundation Head of West Region, Daniel Jacquart, commented “We are delighted that during these challenging times we are able to provide the Football Academy students of Bexhill College a service that will enable them to not only continue their footballing development, but provide them with unique educational experiences. As with all of our college academies across the Foundation, we have a fantastic working relationship with Bexhill College and together we look forward to providing more footballing and educational opportunities for future students in years to come.”

The Foundation’s support of the Academy does not finish there, with the resources also being offered to prospective Football Academy students for the academic year 2020/21. Due to the cancellation of sports trials, the Foundation is providing future students of the College an opportunity to experience what being part of the Academy is like. They are providing access to a range of the resources, which will be made available to all applicants that have applied to join the Academy from September 2020, via an online link distributed by the College.

Noble concluded that "The Academy continues to go from strength to strength. Our results this year prove that and we are excited at the thought of getting back to working with all of our players, when the time is right and safe to do so."
