The FA Cup

Sheppey United play at Step 5 in the Pyramid, unbeaten so far in the Premier Division of Southern Counties East - and they pulled off one of the eye-catching results of the round on Saturday, putting out Welling United by 2-0. There is never, ever any certainty in the FA Cup!

Meanwhile the only other Sussex non-league club remaining in the FA Cup, Chichester City, will entertain National South outfit Tonbridge Angels. Chichester drew national attention last season with a great run to the Second Round Proper.

The ties will be played on Tuesday 13th October, and full details will follow.

Prize money of £5625 will go to the winners, while the losing club picks up £1825.
