The Hornets have registered two draws and a loss in their last three games.

Horsham played out a thrilling 3-3 home draw with Bishop's Stortford on January 25 before they suffered a 2-1 defeat at play-off rivals Cray Wanderers a week later.

Wednesday night saw the Camping World Community Stadium outfit snatch a 1-1 draw at Kingstonian thanks to club legend Gary Charman's second half stoppage time strike.

And Di Paola was surprised that his side had not recorded a victory during this spell.

The Hornets manager felt his team had produced 'some brilliant football' in recent weeks.

But Di Paola conceded that the sport doesn't always reward teams for sparkling displays.

He said: "Against Bishop's Stortford I thought we played some brilliant football and I thought we should have got more.

"At Cray I thought we played really well and at Kingstonian we got about what we deserved.

"We're playing some great stuff at the moment and I'm amazed we've only got two points from the last three games.

"But it goes like that. We played Corinthian-Casuals away and probably didn't deserve anything but came away with three points.

"We didn't play brilliantly at Cheshunt but we came away with three points.

"Football has a habit of doing that sometimes but as long as your performances are decent you've got to be happy."

Horsham host Haringey Borough in the league on Saturday in the third meeting of the season between the two sides.

Borough beat the Hornets 3-0 at home in the first qualifying round of the FA Trophy on October 26.

Goals from Michael Ademiluyi, Chidubem Onokwai and Jorge Djassi Sambu settled the tie.

But the game will be remembered for Horsham standing in solidarity with their hosts.

The visitors wore United Against Racism t-shirts during the warm up after Borough keeper Valary Pajetat was allegedly subjected to racist abuse in their FA Cup clash with Yeovil Town the weekend before.

Just a week later, Kieron Pamment's 95th minute winner sealed a 2-1 league win for the Hornets at Haringey.

On Saturday's opponents, Di Paola said: "They're a decent side. I think they've a bit of an up-and-down season.

"They had the FA Cup issue and I'm not sure if that took a bit of something out of them.

"I think he lost a lot of players in the summer because they were ever such a good team last year."

Di Paola was also delighted to reveal that his team will 'pretty much be back to a full compliment' against Haringey Borough.

He added: "Rob O'Toole will be back. (Steve) Metcalf was only a dead leg so I think he'll be OK.

"I think Greg Cundle probably could've done an extra 20 minutes against Kingstonian so he'll be alright.

"Charlie Harris is back from Australia so he's in contention for a place in the squad.

"The only doubt is Gary Charman. He had a quad injury against Kingstonian, and couldn't do a huge amount when he come on, but he still managed to score.

"Joe Shelley is a fifty-fifty because he's got a swollen knee and couldn't put any weight on it on Tuesday.

"We'll pretty much be back to a full compliment."
