Hastings United’s remarkable FA Cup fairytale finally came to an end on Saturday.
The Ryman League minnows were beaten 4-1 away to Championship high-flyers Middlesbrough in round three at The Riverside Stadium.
But the U’s gave their 1,028 travelling fans plenty to cheer with a whole-hearted display which was capped by a stunning second half goal from leading scorer Bradley Goldberg.
