FOOTBALL:CLUBS KICK OFF NEW SEASON IN STYLE

EAST Grinstead Town and Crawley Down Football Clubs kicked off their new seasons recently having secured stylish new facilities for their home grounds.

Mid Sussex District Council's Cabinet Grants Panel awarded East Grinstead Town Football Club 25,000 and Crawley Down Football Club 39,600 towards improvements to their football stadiums.

Together with funding from the Football Foundation, Mid Sussex District Council has enabled the clubs to meet the stringent ground requirements set out by the Football Association.

Both East Court, East Grinstead and The Haven Centre, Crawley Down have had to adhere to the Football Association's new ground grading criteria and went through extensive redevelopments to comply with the association's requirements.
