Goodwood and Bognor pair impress at Dubai golf final

Andrew Brown and Paul Oliver finished as runners-up at the grand final of the UK Matchplay Championship at The Els Club in Dubai.

They scored 42, 40, and 44 points over the three rounds. It was a great experience for the pair, who are members at Bognor GC and Golf At Goodwood.

The Els Club was in stunning condition with every blade of grass perfectly manicured.

Brown said: “We’re both greenkeepers at Goodwood so it was great to play such a great course and pick up tips. Temperatures reached 47 degrees which made conditions even tougher.”
