LACROSSE

EAST Grinstead succumbed to their second defeat of the season, losing 12-3 at the hands of a Spencer team that will be looking to push the top teams all the way for the title.

After a two-week break, Grinstead got off to a slow start, and Spencer put them under pressure straight from the face-off.

By the end of the quarter, Grinstead had pulled a goal back from captain John Pordum but still came in 4-1 down.

During the second quarter, Grinstead still looked static and couldn't seem to get out of second gear.
