LIGHTS GO OUT FOR MULLETS

ONLY A SUCCESSION of fine saves from Arundel keeper Andy McCarthy stopped Burgess Hill running away with this Sussex Floodlight Cup tie on Tuesday night, when Burgess Hill won 3-1.

McCarthy, the best shot-stopper around at the moment, produced great pieces of bravery throughout the 90 minutes, while Arundel looked like rabbits trapped in headlights.

This was thoroughly understandable against a side top of the division by a street and probably a class apart from most of their compatriots.
