Littlehampton slip to fifth
LITTLEHAMPTON Cricket Club blew their winning position on Saturday and have dropped to fifth place in the Division 2 table.
After just 14 of their overs, Littlehampton were already on 100 but there high-scoring start ended up going against them, as they were all out for 183 in 40.1 overs '” giving Roffey an extra 12 overs.
Captain Benn Challen struck 24 from his first seven balls '” after he failed to score anything from his first delivery. He was out for 45 from only 30 balls after striking eight fours and one six.
South African overseas player Siya Sibiya hit 35 and Gary Tester an unbeaten 27. Last man Chris Hanks boosted the total with 17.
