This is also the second and final round of the SMCA Open Sidecarcross Series and looks to have virtually a full line of sidecars.

Since the sidecars last visit back in May, the Twickenham & DMCC have put a lot of hard work into to modifying and reversing the track.

All of the modifications are sidecar friendly, with all the jumps ride-able and safe for the less confident but should be do-able for the quicker riders.

With the exception of the top six from this season’s Maxxis British Sidecar Championship, who are on GP duty in France, the line up includes the majority from that series and competitors from the Clubman’s Championship.

A mixture of new and re-born teams finish the line up.

Six local teams have entered with three competitors from Northchapel. Brothers Steve and Chris Pannell make up one team with their younger brother, Jonathon, driving another sidecar outfit.

Two other sets of brothers are also in action with Neil and Michael Franks from Lancing and Alan and Chris Sturt from Henfield and Small Dole.
