Because he performs at a national level, he moved to the Crawley club to train three times a week.

He has been sponsored by Bognor Rugby Club, AJ Parker Vehicle Services, Kevin Holland Funeral Service and The Royal Oak (pink) pub.

His mum Nathalie said: “They were a very great help and support. We are now looking for more sponsors to help Philippe to continue the sport he loves best by competing at national and international level – ultimately he wants to compete for his country at the Olympics.

“Philippe would like to say a huge thank-you to all the support he received from his sponsors – he is looking for some more to help him to carry on the sport he loves.”
