Sidley staying home for Xmas

SIDLEY United embark on a run of three successive home games over the busy Christmas period when Redhill visit Gullivers on Saturday December 22.

The clash against Redhill should provide the Blues with the ideal opportunity to bounce back from last weekend s abject defeat away to Selsey.

The 3-0 reverse was Sidley s first league defeat of the season and keeps them ten points adrift of leaders Burgess Hill Town with one game in hand.

Ringmer are the next visitors for a Boxing Day morning clash and then its the turn of Hassocks on Saturday December 29.

Jimmy Watson is expected to be out until the new year after picking up a calf injury.

Sidley Christmas programme: December 22 - Redhill (h) 3pm; December 26 - Ringmer (h) 11am; December 29 - Hassocks (h) 3pm; January 1 - Peacehaven (a) 3pm.
