United cut Forest down to size

BEXHILL United toppled Forest 5-0 on Saturday to avenge an even heavier defeat from earlier in the season.

United had been thumped 7-0 away from home so they were determined to make amends, and that's just what they did with four goals in the final half an hour.

Sam Rimmer (30) had fired the home side in front but United really went to town late on when two goals apiece from Ian Oliver (60, 65) and Dominic Bigg (78, 80) completed the rout.

United are back at The Polegrove on Thursday (Boxing Day) for the visit of Newhaven, kick-off 11am. Franklands Village are the next visitors the following Saturday, kick-off 1.45pm.
