That was the prescribed way by which Boro eased aside Wick and - having been 2-0 up after 16 minutes - the final outcome was never really in doubt after that.

Andy Ducille scored both early goals for Dr Marten's Eastern Division high-flyers Boro, the opener from their first real attack after six minutes.

Daren Pearce's initial shot was deflected wide and, from the corner, Stuart Tuck's ball back across goal was turned in by the lurking Ducille.
