Awards for Chichester care home staff
Chichester care home Marriott House and Lodge has celebrated its staff by presenting a number of awards.
Senior care assistant Ann Puttock received a Long Service Award to celebrate working for Barchester Healthcare for 20 years.
Ann started in September 1996 as a care assistant and has worked with residents and their relatives to ensure their needs have been met over the years.
She is the first to receive a 20-year Long Service Award at Marriott House and Lodge.
Chef James Hogg was awarded Employee of the Month for August and senior carer Pauline Pink was awarded Employee of the Month for September.
James was chosen for his dedication to providing residents with delicious food, ensuring all individuals’ needs and wishes are met and for all his help at this year’s summer fête.
Pauline was chosen for the high-quality care she provides residents and relatives, and her excellent leadership.
Other staff were rewarded using the new Barchester Rewards Points scheme. They were nominated for these awards by their heads of department, in conjunction with general manager Theresa Shell.
The scheme is designed to recognise the contribution and achievement of individuals in a variety of ways.
Theresa said: “I am delighted to present all of these awards and am very proud of the whole team at Marriott House and Lodge.”
