The WBFF Pro Model, Jamie Alderton, from Bognor Regis, has spent the last 12 weeks building the Terminus Road site into a state-of-the-art gym facility, Grenade Fit, which is now ready to be revealed to the public.

Tomorrow (July 1) and Saturday (July 2), Grenade Fit will be open from 10am until 4pm for people to come down and view the gym and ask Jamie and the Grenade team any questions.

“It hasn’t really sunk in yet,” said Jamie. “It has all gone by so quickly I haven’t had time to think about it actually opening – but I’m excited now.

“People might think because I have a background in competing that I am only training athletes – but that is not true. Big or small, male or female – that is our focus.”

With only 100 memberships to the gym available, the ex British Army soldier has emphasised that this gym will be purely focused on the clients, getting results and not about the footfall.

“This is a high-end gym for everyday people,” added Jamie.

“A lot of people go to the gym but then lose motivation. Grenade Fit is about surrounding those people will like-minded individuals and building a community where everyone helps each other.”

The limited membership does not mean limited access to the facility, however, as Jamie plans to utilise Grenade Fit into an online gym, delivering ‘knowledge bombs’ and workouts to his large following through content on the website.

Jamie said: “What I always say is you only have one life – if you there is something you really want to do, find the time to do it.”
