Pedestrian in hospital after Emsworth collision

A pedestrian was rushed to hospital after colliding with a car in Emsworth last night.

The 65-year-old man suffered serious injuries and was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham. His injuries are not life-threatening.

The car involved in the incident, which was on the A259 junction between Havant Road and North Street, was a black subaru.

Police were called to the scene just before 5.10pm. The road was blocked, but was reopened shortly after 5.30pm yesterday.

Any witnesses of the incident are asked to call police on 101, quoting 44160310396.
